The beautiful Whatcom County scenery together with the excellent quality of locally-grown raspberries has inspired talented winemakers in our area. Currently Bellingham and Whatcom County are home to 8 boutique wineries, considered among the best in the State of Washington and they are open all year round for tours and tasting.
In most cases the wineries are family-owned which gives a particular charm to the wine tasting experience and a real meaning to the "Artisan" wines they offer. Not to be ignored is the fact that driving along Whatcom County trails to taste these wines makes for an incredible ride surrounded but the natural beauty of the area, whether in the peak of the summer or in the cool winter.
Experience the richness of Whatcom County wines by visiting these local wineries and vineyards that will create an incredible experience for you and your friends.

Although it is always recommended to have a designated driver for these visits, Whatcom Wine Tours provides an excellent service to all wine lovers, which includes a tour guide to different boutique wineries, catered lunch and souvenir wine glass. So you no longer have to leave a friend behind the wheel unable to participate in these fun tours.
A new and innovating program has been established under the Whatcom Wine Trail initiative. Under the "Whatcom Wine Passport" program, people receive a tour map and a "wine passport" that will be stamped upon a visit to each of the participating wineries through 2012. Once the consumer collects all stamps (seven wineries are part of the program), the visitor is entitled to a 20% discount off a case at the winery of your preference.
Great wine, good discounts and top of the line service to enjoy it, what else could you ask for; other than the list of Wineries, Vineyards and Wine Shops.
