Bellingham Farmers Markets (Opening April 6)
June 19, 1993 was the beginning of a new era for our community, when thanks to the vision of Del Lowry to have locally grown produce sold in a downtown location; The Bellingham Farmers Market turned from a dream to a reality with nearly fifty vendors participating in its opening.
In the mid 1990's the Fairhaven Association opened a Wednesday farmers market, at what is now the Fairhaven Village Green. After a number of years, the Bellingham Farmers Market was asked to take over the operation of the Fairhaven Market, expanding on the success of the Saturday Market.
Saturday Market:

Ferndale Public Market (Opening April 20)
Located along Ferndale's beautiful Centennial Riverfront Park, the Ferndale Public Market is home to a broad range of vendors including farmers, crafters, artisan chefs, crafters and more. Throughout the season, the Ferndale Public Market hosts different family events on its brand new stage, right across from the fountain, where kids (and even adults) are invited to get their feet wet and join the fun.
A unique blend of community-minded vendors, entertainers and eco-friendly products and services. Lots of free parking, pet friendly, and on the WTA busline.

The Lummi Island Farmers Market
Open Saturday Morning May thru September
Runs from 10:00 am to 2 pm
1/2 block south of the Lummi Island Ferry Dock at the Islander Store
Take the Whatcom Chief at 10 minutes past each hour. Walk-ons and bike/rider $7.00, free under age 12. Car/driver are $13.00. Prices are round trip.
