Call to Artists for 33rd Annual Holiday Festival of the Arts

Allied Arts is now accepting applications for the 33rd Annual Holiday Festival of the Arts to be held November 16th – December 24th, 2012. Deadline for applications is May 5th, 2012!

The twofold purpose of our festivals is to encourage and support the creation and sale of locally produced fine art and craft while providing an opportunity to connect artists and craftspeople with the general public. This juried festival pursues top quality original arts and crafts and seeks excellence in presentation. Festival proceeds support the visual arts in the region through Allied Arts of Whatcom County’s general and educational programs, community arts events, gallery shows, and artist resources.

The Holiday Festival of the Arts is an indoor, 6 week long festival featuring 100 artisans from our region. Aside from vendors selling their wares, the festival boasts live music, workshops for children, artists demonstrating their craft, and even visits from Santa.

We encourage all artists of any level or medium to apply for the Holiday Festival. Applications can be filled out online at www.alliedarts.org or are available in the Allied Arts Gallery at 1418 Cornwall Avenue, Downtown Bellingham. The deadline for applications is 5pm, May 5th, 2011.
